Malibu History
The King-A-Burger was a fast-food restaurant located on the landside of Carbon Beach in Malibu. It was a drive through and eat in restaurant in the late 1950’s and 60’s. Later it would become the Wine Cellar restaurant which was a sit down restaurant that employed a lot of local Malibu people. The Building at 22853 Pacific Coast Hwy is still standing and was last a Hertz/Budget rent a car location. The architecture is still intact and you can still recognize the old King-A-Burger.
